Self-Healing Requires Self-Analysis
Life will kick you in the ass sometimes where you have no choice but to take a step back to focus on self healing. It’s either that or fall. It definitely is a journey and a process of evolving our souls. From my experience, the result is always better than where we once were.
I hope to inspire you in this writing to either start a self healing journey of active practice or inspire you to keep moving forward if you are currently self-healing.
Self Healing is unique to each individual
The self healing journey is one that is unique to your own life path.
Individual life paths are susceptible to their own conditioning, circumstances, situations and experiences that force us to heal.
An experience that left me angered and awakened at the same time at the beginning of my active healing was at a Cardiologist appointment for my son. I intend you also find inspiration in this short story. My son was a baby at the time and I was an emotional new mother. The Doctors attention seemed to be mostly on me, which irritated me even further.
He began asking all kinds of questions about my childhood, upbringing, and parents. This made me emotional and angered in the moment because it triggered inner wounds not fully healed. After I left I became aware of the message I received from him. He said “Do you know what makes you special? There is only one Tracy Leila in this world and no one shares your story.” This really resonated with me. I took comfort that my story does not define me, it’s what gave me the strength to be where I am today, it’s what makes me unique. It’s incredible how this moment motivated me.
All it takes is one encounter, one moment, one conversation to change everything. Roughly 6 months later, after my daughter was born I began my meditation journey. And actively began my self healing journey that I continue with daily.
A life path brings habitual influence and conditioning that may result in repeated conflict or repercussions, sensitive natures and defensiveness, emotional upsets, golden and precious memories, feelings of love, pain, hurt, excitement, celebration, you name it. The polarities are extendable and depends on how we respond and learn from each experience.
Do you seek knowledge for self healing?
And when you attain that knowledge do you act on it?
It’s a process of unfoldment to be our true authentic self that we came to be on this life form called Earth. I believe that learning more about our birth charts and name charts we gain a greater understanding to who we are and our personal life path. A great book to begin learning about Numerology and your Charts is “The Complete Book of Numerology – Discovering Your Inner Self” By David A. Phillips. This was a tremendous help for understanding my authentic self, where I need to heal and focus on for growth.
Self-healing brings awareness to self-reflection, internal dialogue, emotional pain and hurt that resides within the heart chakra, extending throughout the entire body. Causing friction, an uncomfortable inner pain, remorse, guilt, shame, fear, anger, or apathy. All forms of energy that reside on the lower levels of human consciousness.
When we’re not working through these emotions, we suppress them until they’re triggered by experiences, people, thoughts and feelings. Causing one to become angry, agitated, frustrated, overwhelmed, or stressed. Ultimately causing either spectrum of anxiety or depression.
Working as a Spiritual Healer
Practicing spiritual work of any kind is often times harder. Balancing your spiritual practice, development and unfoldment with your physical experiences, commitments and demands. On top of that we are empaths and sensitive in nature. Oftentimes taking on the energy of others around us. How do you differentiate? Are you able to? How do you release it? Do you have boundaries in place?
The more we self-heal, understanding our own energy and where we need healing, the better we can understand others. Releasing energy we experience from those around us and protecting our own. Knowing what is your energy and what is not.
Reach Deep Within Self
Self-healing requires you to reach deep within yourself.
Facing consequences (good and not so good) that arise and uncomfortable emotions are inevitable, but results in more light in your life. It’s the essence of why you’re here, to evolve your soul. As a Medium we have an obligation to not only serve Spirit which requires dedication and concentration, we also help those experiencing grief, uncertainty, and possibly pain and guilt. On top of that we have an obligation to our own self.
Self-healing is necessary to be a clear conduit of energy between You and your Spirit Team, Ancestors, Angels and God. It’s necessary to bring you into alignment of your journey. And sometimes that requires you to take a step back and fill your own cup. And that’s ok!
We are always connected to spirit
When we trust that spirit is always there and will always show up when needed. The only equation left to work on is our own selves. Building confidence and ebbing and flowing through the healing process. Strengthening our connection and rising to higher levels of consciousness as a result of self-healing and continual spiritual hygiene.
I’m inclined to tell you that you have the power and capacity to fulfill everything that you desire. Your wildest dreams and creations that you can form within your mind that bring you joy and happiness is at your disposal. The greatness that you came here to be is at your disposal. It may not yet be seen through your physical eyes, but it is felt through the solar plexus chakra and trusted through the heart.
Courage is a requirement for self healing
Courage is the first thing that is required for self-healing.
Having the courage to take this step forward and commit to it. What are you committing to?
It starts with the “intended courage” to ebb and flow through the good and bad momentary experiences. Be courageous enough to be uncomfortable through your triggered moments. Trust in the uncomfortableness that arises.
Have the courage to stay in those moments and acquire knowledge that lives there. Intend to understand it. Have the courage to let go of past experiences, emotions, thoughts, belief systems, and perspectives. Be courageous enough to fully trust in your own intuition, what you feel and know is true.
Self-Analyzation
Self-analyzation is key and a crucial step in self healing.
Take time to step back and observe yourself. Watch, hear and see yourself. Look in the mirror and be honest as to where you are currently are in the present moment. What are you feeling? Uneasiness, stress, worry, doubt, shame, guilt, fear, anger, resentment, hopelessness, exhaustion, despair?
It’s ok to feel these emotions if you are moving in with the intention to understand them for healing. This is where it is “Ok to not be ok”, the question is what do you do with the information?
To heal we must face the emotions, feelings, circumstances, situations that cause you to experience this momentary pain. Analyze it, look at it, dissect it, and understand it. Bring light to the perspective that’s holding you captive in that belief system that doesn’t bring joy to your life. Then open yourself to a new perspective that can set you free.
By dissecting it, moving inward to understand the effects of your pain, you bring light to the cause.
This is HUGE in the process of self-healing. Because with understanding the cause we begin to move to a level of acceptance within the human consciousness. This brings forward light, compassion and is where forgiveness can blossom.
Never rush the process
It is a process that should never be rushed. Instead take it step by step, day by day, moment by moment, and one habit at a time.
Self-healing really does transform and transmute into this beautiful aspect of daily life called spiritual hygiene. It becomes a necessary and required part of our daily lives. Fuelling our entire soul with love and light to be the best we can be.
I can confidently say that you are here to be the best Human you can be. You are here to heal from whatever it is you need to heal from. You are here with purpose and passion, and the goal is to discover and nurture your own gifts and strengths. To fuel your spirit with kindness and compassion and love, which should be extended outward to every living thing on this Earth.
Asking the right questions…
Asking questions is a critical part of self-healing. It is a critical part of Shadow Work Healing. Learn more about it here.
As you begin to ask yourself questions. you may begin to realize you’re asking yourself the wrong questions. Wondering why you’re not receiving the right answers. It’s only when we actually pay attention to the questions that we ask ourselves that we begin to shift and change the questions that we ask, in order to receive the answers that can help us move forward.
It’s important to stop asking “why” questions and begin asking “what” and “how” questions.
- What is the purpose of me going through this experience?
- What do I need to do to rise above this?
- How can I utilize the resources before me?
- What resources do I have now that I can use?
- How can I make the situation better?
These are only a few questions that you can ask. Get creative with it!
Open and expand yourself to receive answers from your Guides, Loved Ones who have passed, Angels, Ancestors, Teachers and God. The answers may not come at that moment, but as you ask the right questions you put it out to the Spirit World. Trust you will receive the answers with time. Pay attention. This is a great way to begin working with your guides if you’re a beginner.
Spiritual Hygiene
I believe spiritual hygiene is the continuation of the self healing. As this journey always leads to a spiritual experience. In order to self heal we must go inward. To move inward we connect with our spirit and our soul. Eventually connecting with Guides, other spirit helpers along our life path and the Divine.
A journey of self-healing brings forward awakenings, epiphanies, revelations, ah-ha moments…all of which are spiritual experiences and necessary for healing.
These experiences blossom into daily habits and rituals of spiritual hygiene.
We begin to realize the importance of this daily care and the ability it has to keep our energy vibration in high frequency. Spiritual hygiene becomes an essential tool for our daily lives, that we will not be compromised.
It fuels, heals, balances, harmonizes, stabilizes, every aspect of self. In return, it brings forward experiences of contentment and inner peace, the ability to have patience, trust and faith in every obstacle we face.
